Who develops Another Eden Begins?

WRIGHT FLYER STUDIOS is listed as both developer and publisher on Steam. Studio Prisma is the creative team presented on the game's official website. These names describe different parts of the same project's identity, not two competing answers to who made the game.

The Steam product listing supplies the commercial credits. The Studio Prisma website describes a team originating from Wright Flyer Studios with Masato Kato, and lists both Begins and Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space among its products.

The named team and its responsibilities

Studio Prisma's public member list gives the following roles. It is a short introduction to the team, not the complete production credits of everyone who worked on the game.

PersonRole listed by Studio Prisma
Shinnosuke HirasawaHead of Studio
Takahito ExaArt Director
Takeshi YamagamiSound Director and Composer
Masato KatoScenario and Direction

This distinction matters when following interviews. A studio head discussing production plans, an art director describing the visual approach, and a composer discussing music are not interchangeable sources for every aspect of the game.

Kato's scenario and direction credit is also more specific than saying the project simply “involves a Chrono Trigger creator.” It identifies his stated responsibility here rather than using his earlier work as a substitute for the current credits.

Who is responsible for the music?

The game's official English site credits Yasunori Mitsuda with the main theme; the publisher's Steam description also identifies Procyon Studios with the music. Studio Prisma separately names Takeshi Yamagami as its sound director and composer.

Those credits can coexist. Writing a theme, composing additional music, and directing a project's sound are different contributions. Do not read Mitsuda's main-theme credit as a claim that he composed every track, or treat the short studio member list as an exhaustive soundtrack personnel list.

If you are looking for a particular recording or track, use its own soundtrack credits when available. A game's promotional credit does not establish who performed every instrument or arranged every piece.

Why does Aksys Games also appear on some listings?

Aksys Games is associated with the Western physical release. Its official announcement video identifies Switch and Switch 2 physical editions for 2027 and carries an Aksys publishing notice.

That does not replace the WRIGHT FLYER STUDIOS developer credit or turn Aksys into the developer of the Steam version. When checking a seller's information, keep these fields separate:

  • Developer: the credited game-making company.
  • Creative team: the studio identity and named creative leads.
  • Publisher for the product you are buying: this can differ by format or region.

The same rule helps explain apparently conflicting retailer descriptions: a Western boxed edition and a digital PC listing need not name an identical publishing arrangement.

Follow the source that matches your question

For people and creative roles, start with Studio Prisma's member page. For the developer and publisher of the Steam product, use the Steam listing. For the Western physical edition, follow Aksys rather than assuming a digital-store announcement applies to the box.

For a technical support request, use the game's official support entry. A developer's public profile is useful for learning about the team, but it is not a substitute for the product's support route.
