What is Another Eden Begins?
Another Eden Begins is a premium single-player time-traveling JRPG from WRIGHT FLYER STUDIOS and STUDIO PRISMA, based on the first major story arc of Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space. Aldo travels across antiquity, the present, and the future while searching for his kidnapped sister, Feinne.
The game rebuilds the adventure as a standalone title with a fully voiced main story, strategic command battles, Another Force, character and kinship quests, and New Game+. After completing the main story, your developed characters carry forward into new routes where your actions can lead to more than ten different endings.

Serial Code Bonuses
Another Eden Begins has official early-purchase serial-code bonuses, but they are unique purchase codes rather than universal public promo strings. These codes redeem rewards in Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, not inside Another Eden Begins itself.
Individual purchase codes, not public promo strings.
Redeem in Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, not in Begins.
Check the code type, platform and redemption window before using a code.
Characters
Another Eden Begins features 19 playable characters in its main roster, counting Aldo and 18 companions encountered across different eras. Use the character guide to compare companions, their stories, and how they fit into party-building and Chain Skill strategies.
The protagonist and a swordsman carrying the fate of the world as he travels across time and space.
Aldo's younger sister, described officially as a kind-hearted girl possessing a hidden power capable of changing the world.
A mysterious samurai who has the appearance of a frog and joins Aldo's time-traveling adventure.
More details
A hunter from the future and one of the major companions Aldo encounters during the story.
An android whose stated mission is to be as helpful as possible and one of Aldo's prominent future-era companions.
A new sand spirit created for Another Eden Begins who guides Aldo during the New Game+ adventure.
The remaining official characters are Helena, Anabel, Gariyu, Shanie, Shion, Suzette, Cetie, Bertrand, Mariel, Myrus, Melina, Yuna, and Renri.
Party Building
Understand roles and Chain Skill conditions before choosing a party. The combat guide explains the systems rather than ranking untested teams.
Check damage, support and healing options.
Inspect the action and Chain Point conditions for each character.
Prepare an alternative party for a different matchup or recovery.
Combat Guide
Combat combines visible field encounters, four-character command battles, automatic Chain Skills, Valor Change, and the returning Another Force system. Understanding how these mechanics feed into each other is more important than simply selecting the highest-damage attack every turn.
Approach visible enemies on the field to initiate command battles; Another Eden Begins replaces the original game's random encounters with enemies roaming the map.
Perform the actions required by each character to gain Chain Points. A Chain Skill automatically triggers at the end of a character's turn once its CP requirement is met.
Build chains by matching skills and Chain Skill properties; one character's automatic attack can generate the conditions needed to trigger another character's Chain Skill.
New Game Plus and Endings
New Game+ unlocks after completing the main story and is a major part of Another Eden Begins rather than a simple replay mode. It preserves much of your progression while opening more than 10 additional endings based on choices, actions, items, and story branches.
More than 10 endings become available from the second playthrough onward, and the developers say these endings are new to Another Eden Begins.
Some endings require particular choices or specific items, according to director Yasutaka Onaga.
The new character Ramiu is introduced as part of the New Game+ adventure and guides Aldo into the game's expanded second-playthrough story.
Demo and Save Transfer
The free demo contains Main Story Chapters 1 through 6, and both story progress and character stats can carry into the full game. Transfer is automatic through an in-game prompt on Nintendo Switch systems, while Steam and Steam Deck require manual save-file steps.
Confirm which platform holds your demo save.
Read the platform-specific instructions and back up the files first.
Verify the transferred progress before restoring cloud synchronization.
System Requirements
Check the official PC requirements and the major differences between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 before buying. The Switch 2 Edition supports enhanced graphics and up to 60 FPS, while the PC version lists separate 720p minimum and 4K recommended targets.
